An effluent filter, when installed in the outlet of the septic tank, greatly improve the effluent flow to the field bad, thus extending the life-span of your septic system. An effluent filter is affordable maintenance and is highly recommended.

Sewage enters the first chamber of the septic tank through the inlet baffle (or tee). This is where the solids should separate from the liquids, however most of the larger particles of waste enter the second chamber. If the flow of liquid is heavy, these large particles can pass through the outlet baffle (or tee) and enter the field bed. These particles will then block the perforations in the field bed and thus restrict the flow from the bed into the soil. When this accumulates, you have a field bed failure.

Effluent filters help remedy this problem by restricting the flow of particle solids through the outlet baffle (or tee), thus ensuring the longevity of your field bed. We have a variety of filters, designed to fit just septic systems of just about any size and shape. The installation is simple, and the cleaning is just as easy. Our filters are built to last, are corrosion-proof, and can be fitted with an alarm to notify you when they need cleaning.
